Literature Text

Underneath the full moon phase,
I stared in the dark with a thoughtful gaze.
My fangs tonight weren't stained with blood.
The word she spoke had been just one.
Don't, she'd said, and meant it full.
And her words had had the strongest pull.
They'd yanked my soul and tore my heart.
With her, I never wished to part.
My vampire's crown, I'd cast away,
Or death a worthy price to pay.
I shouldn't have said the things I said
Of all the humans I'd left for dead,
The ones whose blood I'd taken away
So I could live another day.
Perhaps I would give up and die
Instead of living this dark lie.
In my murders my heart was gloved.
I could not go to Heaven above,
Nor could I go to Hell below,
As if I didn't have a soul.
Instead I had this blackened one
Until my time on Earth was done.
Happy Birthday Rebbs!!!!
Remember that mug thingy with the vampire on it? Well it inspired me...
OK, so it's not quite the same thing but, whatever.

i wish i was raised speaking english,
for maybe then i could say as i want to say,
for others to understand.
