Contradictions

I love you.
But at the same time,
I hate you
As if you had torn my world away.
I need you.
But at the same time,
You are useless
As if you are only a pointless trinket.
You are my hero.
But at the same time,
You are my enemy
As if our opinions differed from the start.
You are an angel.
But at the same time,
You are a demon
As if you had been full of malice since the beginning.
Love, hate.
There is no difference between the two.
They are both simply strong emotions,
Creating balance by contradicting each other.
Being needed and being useless.
Balance through contradiction.
Hero and enemy.
Balance, contradiction.
An angel and a demon.
Contradiction.
One word, flashing through my mind.
Contradiction.
But it is only a word.
A single word out of thousands.
Millions.
But it matters more than my opinion to you.
That it where we differ.
That is where we contradict each other
